Container fit
Estimates only. Container fit is a simple geometric estimate with all cartons in the same orientation. Real loading usually reaches 85-95% of it because of pallets, irregular cartons and loading rules.
Formulas
- CBM = length × width × height (m) × quantity.
- Air chargeable weight = greater of gross weight and volume weight (L × W × H in cm ÷ 6000).
- Sea W/M = greater of CBM and metric tonnes.
